Your lamp does not exist until you choose it. Every shade spends three hours on one of four printers in our Amsterdam studio, then it is finished by hand and fitted with its aluminium ring.
Nothing here comes off a shelf. It ships with a passport in your name, and it is built to hold its light for years.
Nobody photographs their ceiling light.
Everyone stops for a sunset. The difference is what the light passes through on the way to you. Our lamps break it before it reaches you: a warm glow, a pattern on the wall, and never a bright point.
